Community. Colleagues. Collaboration. Commitment.

Community. Colleagues. Collaboration. Commitment. These four words capture the spirit, passion, and dedication of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA). IPA is a community which is unique in making its programs relevant and accessible to professionals throughout the full spectrum of geriatric mental health. We welcome our colleagues from all disciplines to collaborate on all issues from healthy aging to the illnesses that affect those late in life. IPA is committed to providing quality information, resources, and education.

IPA is the leading international organization in the field of psychogeriatrics with members in over 50 countries and affiliate associations all around the world. IPA members benefit from unique opportunities to interact with colleagues around the world who share an interest in advancing research, education, and theory about mental health in older adults. IPA members also receive valuable discounts on scientific meetings and online education which advance the full spectrum of geriatric mental health. Subscriptions to relevant publications such as International Psychogeriatrics, the official journal of IPA, and the IPA Bulletin present updates in the field and perspectives from around the world.
