4th IPA Long Term Care Colloquium: Cutting Edge Technologies in Care of Older People

 

Long Term Care Colloquium participants will be introduced to the exciting and ‘cutting edge’ world of social robots, assistive technologies and telehealth care. Under the theme, “Cutting Edge Technologies in Care of Older People,” developers, health care professionals, and ethicists will discuss their experiences of developing, using and evaluating technologies with and for older people, with topics ranging from:

  • Robots and Technologies Maintaining Well-Being
  • Companion Robots - More than Cute and Cuddly
  • Ethics and Technologies
  • Innovative Technology and Robots in Older People Care
  • New Developments and Uses in Technologies

EACCME Accreditation

The 2015 IPA International Congress is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists.The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). www.uems.net

EACCME Credits
Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME credit system is based on 1 ECMEC per hour with a maximum of 3 ECMECs for half a day and 6 ECMECs for a full-day event.
