Presenter: Dr. Michael S. Okun
Michael S. Okun is an American neurologist, neuroscientist and NY Times bestselling author who co-founded and directs the Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at the University of Florida Health where he serves as a Distinguished Professor. He previously chaired the UF Department of Neurology, and since 2006 he has been the Medical Director/Advisor for the Parkinson’s Foundation. Okun is recognized for his work in building new models of care for Parkinson’s disease and for pioneering device-based therapies for neuropsychiatric disorders. He has authored over 600 scientific papers and 15 books including the recent NY Times bestseller The Parkinson’s Plan.

Presenter: Dr. Mateusz Zurowski
Mateusz Zurowski is a psychiatrist practicing at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada where he works as a consultation liaison psychiatrist. Over the past 20 years his outpatient practice has been devoted to patients with various movement disorders, primarily those with Parkinson’s Disease. He is involved in teaching the next generation of clinicians and does research at the Krembil Brain Institute. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto.
