Call for Pre-congress Workshops

The International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA) cordially invites you to submit proposals for Pre-Congress Workshops. 
All proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the Committee will determine acceptance.

Workshop Presentations - Guidelines

• Workshops are either a half or full-day in duration and typically include 3-4 or 7-8 presentations.
• Include a summary and a draft agenda for workshop as part of the submission.
• Include three to four learning objectives for the workshop.
• Include list of proposed presenters for the workshop.
• Include requested speaker support (estimated dollar amounts for honorarium, travel expenses, etc.)

Call for Symposium Abstracts - SUBMIT NOW

Abstract submission is now open for the 2026 International Congress in Leiden, the Netherlands on July 1-3, 2026.

• Symposia are 90 minutes in duration and typically include 3 - 5 presentations. Please plan your submission based on a 20-25 minute time frame per presentation (more or less, depending on the total number of presentations in your symposium).
• As part of the symposium abstract submission process, the submitter will provide an overview of the various presentations therein and what the overall presentation will address. This is approximately 350 words in the “Full Symposium Abstract” section.
• The submitter will also submit 3-5 additional abstracts for each individual presentation in their symposium. This is required in order for symposia to be considered.
• You may include images and tables with your abstract, but they are not required and will not be featured in the abstract book.p[
