Shared Interest Forums
The Shared Interest Forums are member groups sharing interests in specific areas of research, practice and care. Each Shared Interest Forum concentrates on one specific, shared interest and collaborates on programs and resources addressing this issue. It is an excellent opportunity to delve more into a particular area with colleagues who are also concerned with an issue.
The Chair and members of each Shared Interest Forum must be IPA members in good standing.
IPA has many Shared Interest Forums. The IPA Member Forums will encourage and foster additional groups reflecting the broad spectrum of geriatric mental health issues, whether about illness or healthy aging. If there is an area that you would like to explore with colleagues that is not listed here and you would like to establish a new Shared Interest Forum, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
The current Shared Interest Forums are:
- Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD)
- Long-Term Care
- Sleep and Healthy Aging
- Young Onset Dementia
More specific information about each of the IPA Shared Interest Forums is available on each separate tab.
