International Psychogeriatrics

International Psychogeriatrics is the official journal of the International Psychogeriatric Association. It is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal for researchers, clinicians, and educators in the field of psychogeriatrics. The journal emphasis is on an integrated and broadly encompassing approach to older people, which considers physical and mental health and illness, a well as psychosocial factors and societal perspectives. Its 2006 impact factor was 1.745.
The Editor-in-Chief invites submission of original research articles, literature reviews, case reports and letters to the editor. Editorials and book reviews are commissioned directly by the Editor-in-Chief. All articles must be original material, not previously published in English and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
International Psychogeriatrics is published
bimonthly and a subscription is included with each IPA membership. The journal often receives grants and support for special focused issues. Members receive these issues at no extra cost.
