IPA Task Force

Vascular Cognitive Impairment (Burden)

The Vascular Burden Task Force was formed in 2003 following a successful IPA Expert Consensus meeting which has subsequently been published (O’Brien et al, Vascular Cognitive Impairment. Lancet Neurology 2003; 2: 11-20). The leader of the task force is Professor John O’Brien. The main initial goals of the task force are to produce a complete bibliography in the area and a slide resource which can be downloaded by IPA members. Other activities include organising symposia on this topic as part of other meetings, and encouraging close links with other organisations with similar goals (eg Vas-Cog).  Anybody interested in joining the task force should contact Professor John O’Brien (email: anne.maule@ncl.ac.uk).
