IPA Call for Photographs
Photo Release Form
We need your help. IPA has redesigned our website and we have added a new feature intended to better communicate the diversity of our membership and the important work that we do for the elderly throughout the world. Specifically, we plan to illustrate the website with photographs of our
members caring for their aging patients. We are seeking photographs that show the range and diversity of our members and their patients…different healthcare disciplines and countries throughout the world. Photographs may also be used for other IPA publications including the IPA Bulletin and International Psychogeriatrics.
Submitted photographs may be either color or black and white photographs, and should show the member and his/her patient in a healthcare setting. The photographs should demonstrate the diversity, rewards, challenges, and the everyday experiences of working in psychogeriatrics.
Photographic submissions should include (see attached form):
- Submitter’s (member’s) full contact information, including mailing address, email, telephone and fax
- Submitter’s professional discipline
- Photograph(s) in electronic JPG format, or the photograph itself (it will not be returned)
- Caption describing the subject(s) and setting of the photograph
- Written consent of photograph subject(s) – the member and the patient (we must have both)
The appropriateness for IPA use will be determined by relevance to the field, and quality of the photograph.
Written consent of the subject(s) is required and is the responsibility of the contributor (see attached form). Documentation of written consent must accompany all photographic submissions. Copyrights of all images used remain the sole property of the photographer, with permission to IPA for its use on the IPA Website, IPA publications, programs, and products.
Please send photograph and “Photo Release Consent Form” to Caroline Connelly at cconnelly@ipa-online.org, International Psychogeriatric Association, 550 Frontage Road, Suite 3759, Northfield, Illinois 60093 USA.
Thank you for your assistance…and for the work that you do!
