IPA Research Awards

Established in 1989 for the best original, unpublished research in the field of psychogeriatrics, the IPA Awards for Research in Psychogeriatrics have encouraged the pursuit of relevant and important research efforts. In conjunction with the other activities of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA), these awards have succeeded in helping to lead the way towards the important goal of improved mental health care for older persons around the world. Past award winners include many scientists who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field. Awards have been given for currently acknowledged groundbreaking work that has benefited the health care professions throughout the world.
