Another election year is upon us. Another opportunity to help lead IPA to
make a difference …. for our patients and throughout the world.
This year there are a total of five seats available for the 2008 election,
including for the first time…. a special designated seat on the IPA Board of
Directors.
Designated Seats were approved in the recent IPA Board of Directors meeting. The
IPA Bylaws were amended to include special designated seats, solely reserved for
individuals with a non-physician background (psychologists, nurses, occupational
therapists, social workers and others). The addition of these special seats
supports IPA’s goal to serve the diverse spectrum of disciplines that work
within the psychogeriatric field.
