The Organising Committee invites you to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation. Relevant topics include the diagnosis and treatment of organic and functional mental disorders, the interface between physical and mental health, psychiatric epidemiology, social policy, service planning and delivery, carers, residential care, and ethical and legal issues, to name just a few. 

Accepted abstracts will be placed into relevant streams by the Program Committee. Please indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation.  Presentation times for oral papers will usually be 15 minutes (10 minutes talk, 5 minutes questions). All posters will be on display during the meeting and will be reviewed formally. There will be a prize for the best poster.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book and on the IPA website. Publication in the Abstract Book and inclusion in the program requires registration and payment of the appropriate registration fee by the presenting author no later than 25 February 2005.

Notification of selection will be in February 2005.

Deadline for the receipt of abstracts is 25 February 2005.
